It was also his first new album after a long hiatus away wherein the couple raised their son and worked on their marriage. The wait was worth it. “(Just Like) Starting Over,” “Woman” and “Watching the Wheels” are timeless, later Lennon songs. And the whole album captures the charm and intimacy of a partnership that everyone seemed interested in but which, ultimately, could only be understood by John and Yoko themselves.
