The Cars "Candy-O" cassette tape
The second album from Ric Ocasek, produced by weirdo perfectionist, Roy Thomas Baker, and released in 1979. It’s an almost perfect album, led by “It’s All I Can Do,” “Let’s Go” and the title track. There’s a good argument to be made that The Cars were the best of all New Wave bands. I think I buy that. And this is them in the midst of their peak run. An album made for cassettes. Cover has wear but case and tape are AOK.
