A lot of people think this is really Paul Westerberg solo album and not a Mats’ album, and that makes them mad for some reason. Not me, though. I love this. And if it’s a Westerberg solo album, then I wish he made ten of these. Nineties Rock did not get more delightful than “Merry Go Round,” “Nobody,” "When It Began,” “Bent Out of Shape” or “My Little Problem.” Sure, it’s not snotty or loud like “Let it Be.” But the songs. Oh, the songs! So good. Tape in excellent vintage condition.
