Van Morrison "Veedon Fleece" cassette tape
I’m not saying that “Veedon Fleece” is “better” than “Astral Weeks,” but (a) it’s close and (b) I may like this one more. Cassette versions of this album are hard to come by and rarely in good condition. In truth, I don’t really want to part with this but I have an extra copy and I want somebody to enjoy this. Stylistically, it’s the child of “Astral Weeks” and “St. Dominic’s Preview.” “Streets of Arklow” is a perfect, four minute mood setter and "You Don't Pull No Punches, but You Don't Push the River" is the record’s nine minute, searching, soul jam. Get this before I change my mind and buy it from myself. Tape in very good vintage condition.
